KW V5 Racing – 4-way adjustable racing dampers and racing suspensions
KW V5 Racing TwinTube dampers feature precise 4-way damper adjustment with 18 clicks each for low-speed and high-speed forces of compression damping as well as rebound damping. Their operating principle with solid-piston displacement pistons enable a direct response at the lowest strokes. The new KW valve technology with disc springs allows individual characteristic curve design and covers a wide force range from 1,000 N to 8,000 N.
Depending on requirements, the modular damper can also be extended with additional adjustable blow-off characteristics. The valve arrangement ensures cavitation-free operation at low gas pressure. Because it can be used in any mounting position, the damper is suitable for all types of non-wheel-guiding axle designs such as double wishbone or pushrod suspensions. The external reservoir is connected to the damper either directly as a piggyback or via a hose connection.
